We are the Office Communications and Design Group (OCDG) and developing the next generation real time communication client - Office Communicator which will change how people communicate through voice or instant messaging and provide the first class of meeting and online collaboration experience.
We are looking for an experienced Software Designer Engineer in Test to join the team. The SDET will drive the testing of key setup and update experience of Office Communicator and Office Communicator Client SDK. He and she will have the opportunities to build automation on the new Visual Studio 2010 IronMan (a.k.a Burn) setup framework from scratch. The automation will generate great impact in improving testing efficiency in those areas.
Primary job Responsibilities include:
Developing automation frameworks
Writing test plans and test cases
Designing and implementing validation and analysis tools
Developing automated tests
Analyzing run results and debugging tests
Exploratory product testing
The successful candidate will have the following skill sets:
5+ years experience developing commercial software using Object Oriented Programing languages such as C++, C# or Java
2+ years test related experience in areas such as Test Automation, writing test cases/test plans, creating test strategies or unit testing
BS in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent industry experience
Passion for the customer experience
Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong preferred skills but not required:
Experience with Set Up Testing, Deployment, Client/Server or distributed development or Designing and developing Test Automation
